Daily Inspiration 3-26-10

"The secret is not to give up hope. It's very hard not to because if you're really doing something worthwhile I think you will be pushed to the brink of hopelessness before you come through the other side."

"You simply have to put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Put blinders on and plow right ahead."

-- George Lucas

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

-- Calvin Coolidge

"Never, never, never, never, give up."

-- Winston Churchill

The question is not whether or not I can succeed. It is, how far will I go? Where will I draw the line that says, this far and no further? It is, what am I willing to give for it? It is what will I think about it along the way. Some may go this far and no further, others a bit further, and others further still. Each chooses and the choice is everything.

Benjamin Disraeli said it so well: "Nothing can withstand the power of the human will if it is willing to stake its very existence to the extent of its purpose."

That just leaves whether a line is drawn and where it may be drawn.

I May Choose My Own Success, Or Not. . .

Spread Some Joy Today--Have there been times in your life where you've drawn a line and would not go further? Looking back, would it have made a difference to have kept going a bit more?
