I know this quote above to be true and I've been lately looking at people I meet, or see out and about, and I wonder what their unique brilliance is. I am convinced that we each have at least one unique brilliance; one unique thing that we do so well, that is so special and wonderful.
You can see it in children before they are stifled by their parents into conformity for the sake of a smooth society. Tragic. They are so brilliant and so creative and they can do anything. They have such confidence until the critics arrive and spoil the fun. And, even then, many are so resilient, so full of enthusiasm for sheer expression, that they somehow persevere.
As adults who have been taught to conform, we now search for our place in life--even search for our uniqueness that was left behind as a child. How interesting that irony is.
Yet there is something we can do that will help us all. Seek our own brilliance once again, and see it in others. When you see it in them, smile to let them know that you have found it. It is pure joy.
When You See Something Special In Someone, Let Them Know What It Is! The Life You Change Could Be Your Own!
Spread Some Joy Today--There seems to be way more joy in uplifting others than ourselves. Go figure.
