Daily Inspiration 8-4-10

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap,
but by the seeds you plant."

-- Robert Louis Stevenson

What a special quote this is. What a great and wonderful way to look at each and every day. To think about what you brought or what you can bring compared to what you take or what you get. It reminds me of the JFK quote, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

When I think about that on the level of the country, I get one feeling and when I bring it home to this day, this hour, this minute, I get an entirely different feeling, but it is the same advice. So, how about this: Ask not what this day will bring to you, but what you can bring to the day. Ask not what the company you work for can do for you, but what you can bring to enhance the company. Ask not what your spouse can do for you, but what you can do for your spouse.

They say it is better to give than receive. It's okay to want and like both, yet something tells me the giving part will be the one you remember.

Be A Farmer: Plant Some Seeds!

Spread Some Joy Today--Think about what you can bring to the day, the hour, the minute, right now. Now do it. The rewards will be obvious.
