"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon
as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and
with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ralph Waldo Emerson said it so well: do your best and let the rest go. I've tried to follow that advice and go to sleep without anxiety having done what I could do for one day. I'm not alone.
Having read biographies of some of the most famous business icons of the 20th century, I found that a good number of them had this same philosophy. Some, like Conrad Hilton even put a clock on it and would stop at a certain time and let it be what it will be until the next day brings a new opportunity.
Good Advice.
